Maria is a recently-retired nonprofit leader working in leadership development, advocacy, and social justice in the US and internationally. She also served as a member of President Obama's Advisory Council on Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships. A long-time DC resident, Maria is a Village member. "I strongly support the mission and vision of the Village and am a believer in neighbors helping neighbors and building communities that embrace all ages."
