All About Voting

The DC Board of Elections is mailing every registered voter a ballot for the November 3, 2020 General Election. Cleveland & Woodley Park Village is happy help members get to the polls if they wish to vote in person. We can also pick up your ballots and drop them off for you.

The Board of Elections is committed to providing a safe environment where every vote is counted. Voting by mail is strongly encouraged to protect the public and election workers. Voting by mail is safe, secure and simple.

Of course, you don't have to vote by mail. The city will still offer in person voting, both ahead of election day and on it. You can go to any early voting center to vote.

Election officials say that ballots should start arriving in mailboxes by early October. And for those voters who don’t get a ballot or want to vote in person, the city will be opening 17 early voting sites for a week before the election and 80 polling places citywide for Election Day, including Capital One Arena.
